Last of Us

The Last of Us

What can I say but wow, no wow does not cover it.  This game is something the gaming community has been waiting a long time for it has been some time since we have gotten a game of this caliber.  Please don’t misunderstand me there are lots of games with great story-lines Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Halo, and Final Fantasy to name a few but The Last of Us drew me in not only with its story but with the emotion it carried from start to finish.
Every character in this game has visible emotional ties to other character that are more like looking at your friends or loved one talking then a character that is just there for a chapter or two, you get drawn in to this story and truthfully start to care for Ellie and Joel.  The story is so compelling that you can't help want to keep playing even after that amazing ending, you just want more. I do believe there should be a squeal but I don’t think it should have anything to do with Ellie and Joel, but this would has so much to offer that the possibilities are endless.  With that said, I fell in love with this game.  For the last few years I have been buying games and getting almost done with them a loosing interest before the end the games.

Games now days just have no satisfaction to them anymore all the story are the same save the world or the girl, big boss battle every ones happy and you the gamer can care less.

What happened to the days when you came out of the room after the last cut seen and at that moment the world was right and you had a deserved satisfaction of victory.  The Last of Us leave you with a end to a story that at a few points brought tears to my eyes.  For a game that ends in a lie can you really say that this games is more real than the mindless shooters we find are self playing all to often.  Last of Us plays on are morels and emotions to the last moment and makes you realize you are human.
